Is it deplo or Deplo?

Well, that never really mattered. Actually it started as a quick name for an artwork folder on the computer.

Deplo Skateboards™ was created during 1996 as an expression of my own skate-life experience.
This was during a time when some older skate styles were also on the comeback.

Snowboarding was becoming mainstream.
How about the 'old school' skater who was buying his kid a popcicle stick board; nastalgic for bank riding or sidewalk surfing?

I remember my first longboard was a 30 inch X 48 inch scrap plywood rectangle with rounded corners. I made it as a joke, but it was fun to skate! The next one was a cut down Maharaja water ski three friends and I had to share.

Deplo™ is part of my life experiment. It's propelled by knowledge
and survives on it's own successes.

It's a skateboard. It's a longboard.

And that's just how it is.
